The United Board of Missions serves mid- and South Jefferson County communities with a variety of programs to aid individuals and families in need. All assistance programs require verification of the situation creating the need; and identification to help us coordinate our efforts with other assistance programs in the area.
Basic information required for assistance includes:
Social Security Cards for all members of the household
Driver's license (or state ID card) for all adults in the household
Proof of income from employment (two most recent pay stubs)
Proof of retirement income: Social Security, pensions, annuities, 401k plans
Proof of assistance from SSI, food stamps
Proof of child support payments
